I’ve been behind the chair for 19 years, and I’m the proud owner and founder of Magnolia Roots. Doing hair has always been so much more than a career for me. I truly love creating beautiful, lived-in color and helping women feel confident and like the best version of themselves. Over the years, some of my sweetest friendships have started right in my chair, and I’m so grateful for every client who trusts me with their hair. Outside of the salon, I’m a wife and mama to three amazing kids. My family is the heart behind everything I do, and when I’m not behind the chair you’ll usually find me spending time with them. After 19 years, I still genuinely love what I do and feel incredibly blessed to have created Magnolia Roots. A place where clients can feel comfortable, beautiful, and right at home.

Hi, I’m Kayla! With 10 years behind the chair, I am passionate about helping my clients look and feel their absolute best. I specialize in custom hair color, dimensional blonding, and Invisible Bead Extensions® (IBE), creating beautiful, lived-in results tailored to each client’s lifestyle and goals. My approach combines technical skill, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver hair that is not only beautiful on the day you leave the salon but grows out seamlessly between appointments. Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh, a complete transformation, added length and volume, or a customized color experience, my goal is to provide a relaxing and personalized experience from start to finish. I believe great hair is about more than appearance, it’s about confidence.
